Rt. 58 is open and detour signs were taken down this after­noon. There may be addi­tional work done to the bridge, but the road will remain open.

Ladies step up

Rene Wendling of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Auxilary #2051 hands a $700 check to Larry Davis, a driver for the Wellington Senior Citizens Bus Association, as Mary Parron and Karen Davis, another driver, look on. Each year, the Ladies Auxilary hosts a St. Patrick's Day corned beef and cabbage meal, and the proceeds go to the Senior Citizens bus.
