JVS memorial ready in 2012
The 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon is close, but a memorial crafted from a beam of the WTC won’t be ready in time for the anniversary.
The memorial is being designed and built by students at the Lorain County Joint Vocational School (JVS).
JVS supervisor Charlie Warthling planned to unveil the memorial in October because so many area communities plan dedications on or around Sept. 11.
