The Wellington Enterprise

Just clapping along for summer

Third grader McKayla Wadden shows her excitement as she walks out of Westwood Elementary School for the final time, followed by her teacher, Dan Gundert last Tuesday. Each year, Westwood holds a "clapout," with students, faculty, staff and parents clapping as the third graders exit for the final time. During the day, the school's staff held a breakfast for the third graders and cooked them hot dogs for lunch.
