Lady Dukes postseason run cut short with loss

The Lady Dukes soc­cer team went far­ther than any team in school his­tory, but came up short of their goal when they fell to Elyria Catholic 4-0 in the dis­trict cham­pi­onship on Saturday.

It was the first time in school his­tory the team made it to the dis­trict cham­pi­onship game. The team also won the con­fer­ence cham­pi­onship for the first time in school history.

How­ever, the girls were one win short of mak­ing it to region­als, which was their goal when the sea­son started.
